Tate Consulting Appointed For Next Phase At Royal Wharf, London

Tate Consulting have been appointed for Phase 3 of Ballymore Group and Oxley’s riverside development in Royal Wharf Docks, London.

Tate Consulting are providing a detailed MEP design service in BIM and are working closely with architects Todd, structural engineers OCSC and contractor Roundstone, in coordinating the design of this phase of the development, which has a planned completion date of December 2020.

Phase 3 of the development includes 960 apartments, office, retail and restaurant space and adds to Tate’s existing work on Phase 2 of the development and which now means the company is working on almost 2,000 apartments on the Royal Wharf development. Overall the Royal Wharf is anticipated to provide 3,300 properties on the 40 acre site and is planned to house around 10,000 new residents.

Tate Consulting appointed for new 543,000 sq ft logistics facility

Tate Consulting has been appointed by Bericote Properties Limited to provide MEP and sprinkler design services for a new 543,000 sq ft logistics facility and headquarters at Four Ashes, Wolverhampton.

The site is strategically located in the West Midlands, close to J12 of the M6, providing good access to Birmingham and Nottingham. The new facility will comprise a gross internal area of 543,692 sq ft. with expansion land to accommodate up to a further 101,139 sq ft..

Construction of the main works is expected to commence during September 2016 with practical completion anticipated for July 2017.

Tate Consulting Appointed By Hachette UK

Tate Consulting has been appointed by book publishers, Hachette, to provide MEP and sprinkler design services for their new 280,000 sq ft automated distribution centre, to be built in Didcot, Oxfordshire, near the site of their existing Bookpoint distribution centre.

The new facility includes warehouse 2 mezzanine levels and offices and work is anticipated to start later in 2016 with completion in 2017. 

Tate Consulting Completes Project for Euro Car Parts

Tate Consulting’s has just completed work for Euro Car Parts (ECP) on its new 778,000 sq ft distribution warehouse at Birch Coppice Business Park near Tamworth.

Tate Consulting was appointed by ECP in September 2014 to provide Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Engineering services for its new fully automated distribution warehouse, and the new facility includes 47,500 sq ft of offices alongside four-level access doors and 64 dock doors.

The new ECP facility is intended to stock over 150,000 different product lines and dispatch over 200,000 items each night to the branch network.

Tate Consulting have been appointed to provide full MEP design services for phase 2B of Ballymore Group and Oxley’s riverside development in Royal Wharf Docks, London. 

Tate Consulting are providing a detailed MEP design service in BIM and are working closely with architects WCEC, structural engineers OCSC and contractor Roundstone, in coordinating the design of this phase of the development, which has a planned completion date of December 2017.   

Phase 2B of the development includes 958 apartments, 12 town houses, retail and leisure space and is part of the larger development of 3,300 properties on the 40 acre site due to house around  10,000 new residents.  The Royal Wharf development will be almost 45% public open space and includes a riverfront promenade, leisure facilities and retail space.
